I’m Liz Hover …

… a Brit gal in Canada. Once a Londoner and now a Winnipegger.

This is my personal blog where I write about the social web and I might occasionally mention my dog (whose blog Hi, I’m Sadie Shih Tzu is far more entertaining than mine and is the winner of a 2010 Canadian Weblog Award).

I came to Canada from London, England about eight years ago. My mum is from Winnipeg.

I work as the digital media manager for the National Screen Institute – a film and television training organisation in Winnipeg, Canada. I teach social media marketing and blogging to their students and manage their website.

I might be a little OCD. I subscribe to and read zillions of blogs. As a result I have a massive resources page right here to help you on your social web journey.

I’ve presented workshops about the social web for many Canadian organisations (in fact, you can hire me to talk to your group). I’ve also been named one of the world’s top 125 fearless female bloggers.
