It wasn’t meant to be super serious but I’ve already published seven posts and have another nine in drafts. Apparently I have lots of opinions on this stuff. Who knew?
I’ve been blogging less and less here. My passion for online marketing and website design remains but I don’t feel as compelled to write about it as I once did.
Things have changed. More people than ever use Facebook and Twitter. More blogging platforms are launching regularly and technology is constantly moving.
And my blogging passions have changed with this.
I almost feel embarrassed about creating a beauty blog. On the one hand it seems so shallow but on the other, it’s what I know. And we’re always told: write what you know.
Small fact: I’ve always loved makeup. From about the age of 13 I wanted to be a makeup artist but I chose a different path. And that’s okay.
A lot of my spare time is taken up managing my dog’s Instagram account (29,000 followers and still going strong) and also with beauty stuff. I’m always painting my nails, battling dry skin in Winnipeg’s frigid winter and – now that I’ve turned 40 – trying to disguise the fact I’m getting older. Eep!
I may write here occasionally but, for now, I’ll be putting all my energy into Lipstick is my Co-Pilot. I’d love you to click on over and take a look.
